Thịt heo khô ngọt kiểu Thái với từng lát thịt heo thăn chắc nịch, trộn sốt rồi đem phơi hoặc sấy ở 100 độ C. Sau đó được chiên ngậm dầu trở thành những miếng thịt khô dai, béo, ngấm vị hấp dẫn.
Cho vào nồi gồm: 100g đường, 100ml nước tương, 1 muỗng cà phê tiêu, 2 muỗng canh dầu hào, 1 muỗng canh ớt khô xay, 1/2 muỗng cà phê muối và 2 tép tỏi giả nhỏ, hòa tan. Đặt nồi lên bếp đun khoảng 7-10 phút cho đến kho hỗn hợp hơi sánh là tắt bếp, để nguội.
Ướp thịt với hỗn hợp đã đun trong khoảng 2-3 tiếng hay qua đêm. Sau đó đem phơi hoặc sấy thịt ở 100 độ C cho miếng thịt khô ráo.
Đun nóng nhiều dầu ăn, cho thịt vào chiên ngập dầu cho đến khi thịt chuyển sang màu nâu sậm là được, vớt ra để ráo dầu.
