Gấp cá anchovy mặn ra khỏi hũ cho vào chén sạch, phần dầu olive bên trong hũ giữ lại.
Bắp cải để nguyên đầu rửa sạch, cắt làm đôi, cắt bỏ cuống, rồi sau đó hãy cắt thành sợi tơ hơn đầu đủa một tí rồi để chúng vào rổ.
Bắt nồi lớn lên bếp, cho nước vào 2/3 nồi, đun sôi. Nêm 1/2 muỗng cà phê muối vào, cho mì vào luộc với lửa vừa. Khi mì gần chín tức là cọng mì còn tí xíu hơi cưng cứng tí thôi thì thả bắp cải cắt sợi vào. Trộn đều, hai thành phần được luộc tiếp khoảng 2 phút rồi trút ra rổ cho ráo nước.
Đun nóng 2 muỗng canh dầu ăn, cho cá hộp anchovy vào đảo đều tay rồi cho tỏi băm vào. Cuối cùng là cho mì và bắp cải đã luộc vào, đảo đều tay.
Dùng đủa trộn đều, rưới phần dầu olive trong hủ còn lại vào, nêm nếm 1/3 muỗng cà phê muối, ăn thử cho vừa miệng rồi tắt bếp.
