It's not fair? Don't be stupid. Bro, we got YouTube so we can watch those amazing shows ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, do you realize how bad it was for them? The only chance that they can hear they favorite bands were if they: Bought their albums or tapes / radios / the show was being broadcasted, which almost never happened. Dude, our life is way much easier, yeah, us rock lovers don't have that much bands that we can look forward today, but hey, it's not like we don't have any either, Halestorm is good, FFDP is good and we still have the oldies but goldies.

It’s almost like Queen, AC/DC and Kiss still exist. There are lists of great new rock and metal bands out there. Especially metal. You live in arguably the greatest time period for music because at your finger tips you have ever song ever recorded! You can find every obscure band to fit your exact tastes. Also don’t act like there isn’t still some fun pop music. As a Lover of Thrash and Death metal I can also admit that Miley Cyrus has some great songs. Same with Lady Gaga. Gaga is also a huge fan of metal, especially Anthrax. Bottom line: good music is constantly being made, go find it.
